I am writing this blog out of frustration at how video chat and places like chatroulette seem to be going, it seems everything is looks based now, if you dont look right on cam you are instantly blocked or nexted.

This kind of defeats the object of trying to meet someone online and chat to them if you are not prepared to chat to just random people and only want to chat to teh good looking people !

There are lots of chatroulette style sites now all have their own video chat style options all with people that dont speak, it seem teh chat genre has moved on from simple text chat with people that you dont ask see, or know what they look like.

I was browsing on wocchat.com a free chat site and it was hard to get anyone to chat to me

This all saddens me as everything on TV and online seem to have moved on to what people look like, people being obssessed with what another person looks like before they even give them a chance, and try to get to know someone, this is shallow and shortsighted.
